The Board's comments on this appointment Ms Jae Teo Sze Han ("Jae Teo") was involved in various key projects such as the Initial Public Offering of the Company, SAP implementation and acquisition projects which involved process integration across the group. Jae Teo started out from the ground level in production and thereafter operations office before rising through the ranks to be the Senior Business Process Manager. Recently, she has taken on additional portfolios in insurance, Information Technology ("IT") and Human Resource ("HR") on a group level.

The Management has proposed Jae Teo to be appointed as the Company's Deputy Chief Administrative Officer. She meets the selection criteria and is nominated by the Nominating Committee to the Board for consideration. The Board having considered Jae Teo's background, qualifications and working experience, gave its approval for the appointment. Mr Teo Bee Chiong, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Mr Teo Bee Hoe, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of the Company, abstained from the decision making process.

Jae Teo reports directly to the Chief Administrative Officer and is primarily responsible for the group's HR and IT functions. Jae Teo will be in charge of driving cross-functional solutions and aligning business processes and controls across the group.
